 State Agency Support
Division
The State Agency Support Division occupies permanent posts, including
vehicle and foot patrols at eight buildings, including the State Health
Laboratory and South Carolina State Park Campus area. SASD provides foot
and vehicle patrols protecting more than 1,900 state employees for several
state agencies: South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental
Control, University of South Carolina Library Annex/
Conservation Facility, Department of Archives and History. The SASD
supervisor has the responsibility of protecting the DHEC Commissioner and
board members during monthly board meetings dealing with current
environmental issues. |
