Compassionate Guide ...
Through the Difficult Days Ahead
This small booklet was designed and produced by FHF members for families who have recently lost a loved
one in a collision. Typically, law enforcement will hand a family representative a copy of the guide
at the time of the fatality notification. The booklet offers helpful advice from everything to immediate
business decisions, tips on taking care of the family in the days following the death, and funeral planning.
