FATALITY REPORT: DPS REPORTS FIVE KILLED
ON SOUTH CAROLINA HIGHWAYS JANUARY 7 9
COLUMBIA The South Carolina Department of Public Safety announces a preliminary number of five (5) people killed on South Carolina highways from 6 p.m. Friday, Jan. 7, through midnight Sunday, January 9.
An eight-month old Williamston girl, killed Sunday, was one of two passengers killed in separate collisions. The other was a 28-year-old Walterboro man, who died when the vehicle in which he was riding crashed into a tree. Both were wearing seat belts.
