FATALITY REPORT: DPS REPORTS FIVE KILLED
ON SOUTH CAROLINA HIGHWAYS JANUARY 14 - 16
COLUMBIA The South Carolina Department of Public Safety announces a preliminary number of five people killed on South Carolina highways from Friday, January 14, at 6 p.m. until Sunday, January 16, at midnight.
Three fatalities resulted from single-vehicle collisions, and one person was killed in a two-vehicle collision. One person was killed when a car struck the motorcycle he was riding. Two of the four motor vehicle occupants killed were not wearing seat belts.
