FATALITY REPORT: DPS REPORTS FOUR KILLED
ON SOUTH CAROLINA HIGHWAYS JAN. 28-30
COLUMBIA The South Carolina Department of Public Safety announces a preliminary number of four people killed on South Carolina highways from Friday, January 28, at 6 p.m. until Sunday, January 30, at midnight.
One person died when his car skidded on an icy road and struck a guard rail. Three people were killed when their cars left the road and ran into a ditch or embankment. Sixty-six people have been killed so far this year on South Carolina highways, compared to 65 at this time last year.
