OFFICER MARK BONNER RECEIVES J.P. STROM AWARD FROM CJA
COLUMBIA – The South Carolina Department of Public Safety, Criminal Justice Academy division, announces that Officer Mark S. Bonner, from the Horry Police Department, received the J. P. Strom Award at the graduation of Basic Class 389 on January 21, 2000.
The J. P. Strom Award is presented to the member of the graduating class who has achieved the highest grade point average during the nine-week basic training program. Officer Bonner attended the Criminal Justice Academy from November 1, 1999 until January 21, 2000. He has been employed with the Horry Police Department since August 30, 1999.
