ACE LIGHTNING BOLT AWARD WINNERS FOR 1999
COLUMBIA - The South Carolina Department of Public Safety has announced the winners for the 1999 Highway Patrol ACE Lightning Bolt Program. The awards were presented in a ceremony at the Criminal Justice Academy on April 17.
The Aggressive Criminal Enforcement (ACE) Program is a recognition program for troopers of the South Carolina Highway Patrol. The overall objective of the ACE Program is to enhance public safety for all South Carolinians through increased traffic safety and increased criminal apprehensions. Officers participating in this program take the time to look beyond the traffic ticket during a traffic stop. The overall trooper will receive the Mark H. Coates Award.
