FATALITY REPORT: DPS REPORTS SIX KILLED
ON SOUTH CAROLINA HIGHWAYS JUNE 2-4
COLUMBIA The South Carolina Department of Public Safety announces a preliminary number of six people killed on South Carolina highways between Friday, June 2, at 6 p.m. until Sunday, June 4, at midnight.
Two people died in separate non-related head-on collisions and two others were killed in separate collisions on Interstate-95. A pedestrian and a motorcyclist, who collided with a tree, also died over the weekend. So far this year, 446 people have died on South Carolina highways, compared to 413 at this time last year.
