COLUMBIA – The South Carolina Department of Public Safety announces the following media events:
WHO: Officers from the South Carolina Highway Patrol and local law enforcement agencies as well as state and local law enforcement officers from Georgia and North Carolina
WHAT: "Hands Across the Border" – a united effort to prevent crashes and save lives over Labor Day weekend. The agencies will meet in Welcome Centers along the South Carolina/Georgia and South Carolina/North Carolina borders to symbolize the upcoming cooperative effort.
