HIGHWAY PATROL ANNOUNCES CHANGES TO POST-GAME
TRAFFIC FLOW ADJACENT TO WILLIAMS-BRICE STADIUM
COLUMBIA The South Carolina Highway Patrol announces that it has made changes to post-game traffic flow adjacent to Williams-Brice Stadium.
All traffic leaving South Stadium Road will go out-bound on Bluff Road after the game. Traffic in the right two lanes of Bluff Road will be routed onto I-77 southbound. Traffic in the left two lanes of Bluff Road may take I-77 northbound or continue east on Bluff Road. This change is being made to relieve the heavy flow of traffic and improve emergency vehicle access through the Olympia area.
Traffic from the new parking area on Assembly Street across from Gate 6 will exit toward town after the game.
Also, the Highway Patrol reminds motorists of the various routes to get to the stadium: I-77 to Shop Road, I-77 to Bluff Road, Beltline Boulevard to Shop Road, Beltline Boulevard to Bluff Road, Assembly Street and Rosewood Drive.
