FATALITY REPORT: DPS REPORTS FOUR KILLED
ON SOUTH CAROLINA HIGHWAYS SEPTEMBER 15 - 17
COLUMBIA The South Carolina Department of Public Safety announces a preliminary number of four people killed on South Carolina highways from Friday, September 15, at 6 p.m. until Sunday, September 17, at midnight.
Four people were killed in two separate single-vehicle collisions. In both instances, the vehicles ran off the road and struck a tree.
So far this year, 740 people have died on South Carolina highways, compared to 760 at this time last year.
