COLUMBIA – The South Carolina Department of Public Safety announces the following:
Who: South Carolina Highway Patrol
What: Highway Patrol Aviation Unit will begin a training and enforcement mission
in HP District 4 Cherokee, Chester, Chesterfield, Fairfield, Lancaster, Union and York counties to train the aerial observers in the techniques of traffic and speed enforcement from the air.
Media are invited to ride along and observe enforcement methods from the sky.
When: Thursday, December 21, 1 p.m.
*** Area solicitors and magistrates are invited to ride along from 8 a.m. to Noon
