COLUMBIA - The South Carolina Department of Public Safety, the South Carolina Department of Transportation and the South Carolina Emergency Preparedness Division announce the following:

Who: DPS, EPD and DOT

What: Hurricane Briefing. This will be an informational briefing to provide the Lowcountry media with the details of hurricane preparations.

When: Noon, Thursday, August 9, 2001.

Where: Conference room, The Post and Courier, 134 Columbus Street, Charleston.

If you plan to attend, please contact the Department of Public Safety by noon, Tuesday, August 7. We must have your name and the name of the media outlet you are representing ahead of time to allow you entrance to the building.
