COLUMBIA - The South Carolina Department of Public Safety announces that the DMV office currently located at Ashley Landing Mall, 1401 Sam Rittenburg Boulevard, in Charleston is moving to Ashley Oaks Plaza, 1119 B Wappoo Road. The new phone number is 843-769-5879.

The Sam Rittenburg Boulevard location will close Friday, November 9, at 5 p.m. The Wappoo Road location open to the public on the next business day, Tuesday, November 13, at 8:30 a.m. (November 12 is a state holiday).
