FATALITY REPORT: DPS REPORTS SEVEN KILLED
ON SOUTH CAROLINA HIGHWAYS NOVEMBER 2-4
COLUMBIA The South Carolina Department of Public Safety announces a preliminary number of seven people killed on South Carolina highways from Friday, November 2, at 6 p.m. until Sunday, November 4, at midnight.
Three people were killed when their vehicles struck another vehicle. Two people were killed after their vehicles overturned. One person was killed when his four-wheeler overturned and he was struck by a vehicle. One person was killed when the car he was a passenger in overturned and struck a tree.
So far, 847 have died on South Carolina highways this year compared to 904 at this time last year.
