COLUMBIA - The South Carolina Department of Public Safety announces the following event:

Who: Gen. Steve Siegfried, Hodges’ homeland security director

What: Siegfried visits DPS as part of his tour of South Carolina law enforcement agencies. DPS will have law enforcement equipment on display and a demonstration by the CERT (Civil Emergency Response Team).

When: 2:30 p.m., Tuesday, November 13

Where: Parking lot near the Criminal Justice Hall of Fame
