COLUMBIA -- The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal hit-and-run collision that occurred this morning (Friday, April 13, 2001) at about 12:25 a.m. at 625 South Beltline Boulevard near Mikell Street in Richland County. Investigators are looking for a possibly larger type sedan, possibly dark in color, that is believed to have struck two pedestrians, killing one and injuring the other. Anyone who has any information about this vehicle and/or the hit-and-run collision is asked to contact Highway Patrol Telecommunications immediately at 803-896-9621.
