COLUMBIA - The South Carolina Department of Public Safety announces the following event:

Who: S.C. Department of Public Safety, SCETV, S.C. Commission on Prosecution Coordination

What: Press conference to discuss the problem of young people drinking and driving in the state. The press conference will spotlight the SCETV presentation Grave Decisions, which will air initially at 10 p.m. on April 12. Grave Decisions is a documentary that explores three separate cases involving young people who made the fatal decision to get behind the wheel while under the influence of alcohol and the consequences and loss of life that resulted from their poor judgement. The fatal crashes spotlighted in the documentary occurred in Aiken County, Charleston County and York County.

When: Tuesday, April 9, at 10:30 a.m.

Where: SCETV Telecommunications Building on George Rogers Blvd. (opposite the State Fairgrounds) in Columbia.
