COLUMBIA – The South Carolina Department of Public Safety has placed its 2001 South Carolina Traffic Collision Fact Book on its web site at www.scdps.org.

The Fact Book is located under “Statistical Services” on the Office of Highway Safety (OHS) section of the web site. It contains 135 pages of statistical information about South Carolina drivers, traffic trends, types and causes of motor vehicle collisions and motor vehicle registration information.

Media are encouraged to refer to this site when searching for current highway statistical information.
