COLUMBIA – The South Carolina Department of Public Safety announces the following event:
Who: South Carolina Highway Patrol, Families of Highway Fatalities Reps. Lisa Radvansky and daughter Megan Radvansky (who lost
their son and brother in a 2003 motor vehicle collision), The Citadel
What: South Carolina Highway Patrol presents Motor Vehicle Safety Assembly to Citadel cadets, faculty
and staff
Special Guests: Families of Highway Fatalities Representatives: Lisa Radvansky and daughter,
Megan Radvansky. Megan is currently Teen Miss South Carolina 2005. She is using her platform
to promote safety and discuss losing her brother in a collision in which he was not buckled
up (see attached poster. This poster was distributed to high schools, middle schools and
hospitals). Megan has been working with teens at high schools and church parent/teen forums
around the state, in partnership with SCDPS, to promote restraint usage and safe driving habits.
