South Carolina Department of Public Safety (SCDPS) announces the following event:

 

WHO:  SCDPS and local law enforcement agencies

 

WHAT: 2007 The Law Enforcement Challenge Recognition Ceremony in which six fully-equipped police cars will be presented to winning local agencies

 

WHEN: 11:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Tuesday, December 4, 2007; vehicle presentations scheduled to start about 1:30 p.m.

 

WHERE: Seawell’s Banquet and Reception Center, 1125 Rosewood Drive, Columbia

 

WHY:  To recognize the dedication of South Carolina law enforcement officers to increase safety belt use, slow down speeders and reduce impaired and aggressive driving
