SC HIGHWAY PATROL RECOGNIZES OUTSTANDING TROOPERS FROM

AROUND THE STATE; L/Cpl. BOB BERES CHOSEN AS TROOPER OF THE YEAR

BLYTHEWOOD – The South Carolina Department of Public Safety today named its outstanding troopers for 2007. Troopers were named from 10 Highway Patrol Troops. An overall winner was chosen from among the group. L/Cpl. Bob Beres of Summerville was named the 2007 Trooper of the Year. L/Cpl. Beres is the Community Relations’ Officer for Troop Seven. The Telecommunications Operator of the Year was named as well, TCO Lillian Wright.
