COLUMBIA – The SC Department of Public Safety (SCDPS) announces the following event:

Who: SCDPS, local law enforcement agencies and highway safety advocates

What: The 2008 Buckle Up, South Carolina campaign to educate South Carolina residents and visitors about the importance of wearing safety belts and using child safety seats and the start of the Summer H.E.A.T. initiative to curb aggressive and impaired driving. State and local law enforcement agencies will seek to save lives and reduce traffic-related deaths and injuries on our highways.
