COLUMBIA – The South Carolina Department of Public Safety:

WHO:            South Carolina Highway Patrol

WHAT:          Highway Patrol Command Staff introduces statewide DUI Team (31 members). There will be a team in each Troop solely dedicated to proactive DUI

 Enforcement; the team will begin work the weekend of July 4.

**Troops will announce July 4 enforcement plans for team and Troop at this media availability as well.

                   ** All 31 DUI team members will be in Columbia at 10 a.m.; they will be available for introduction to local media in Troops at 2:30 p.m.
