The normal cycle for Highway Safety grant funding is October 1 - September 30, unless otherwise indicated in the solicitation notice.  While some variance may occur, the following is a general timeline of events regarding the grant solicitation, application, review and award process:
Highway Safety Funding Guidelines Issued: February
Highway Safety Funding Guidelines Workshop: March
Highway Safety Grant Application Deadline:   April
Grant Application Review: May/June

Summaries & Recommendations Submitted to

SC Public Safety Coordinating Council for Approval:

 July
SC Public Safety Coordinating Council Meeting: July
Grant Approval/Disapproval Notification Mailed:  September
Project Management School:     October
