2009 JAG
Stimulus Grant Update
Due to an unprecedented number of grant applicants
seeking Justice Assistance Grant funds under the American
Recovery and Reinvestment Act, we are amending our
notification and award schedule. Funding announcements for
two categories of applications will be made at the end of
June: (1) Existing projects which are eligible for
continuation and presently fund personnel, and; (2) New
applications which seek to preserve personnel and avoid
critical job losses due to state or local budget reductions.
These applicants will receive award notifications on June
26, 2009 with a start date of July 1, 2009. All other
applicants will receive award and denial notifications in
August.
