JUVENILE ACCOUNTABILITY BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM (JABG)

Overview and Award Schedule

The Juvenile Accountability Block Grant program is intended to promote greater accountability within the juvenile justice system. For the upcoming 2010 award cycle, approximately $700,000 is available for award. State agencies, local units of government, and private nonprofit agencies are eligible to apply for funds. The new Request for Proposal (RFP) is now available online. Applications are due December 10, 2010, and the grant period will be April 1, 2011 to March 31, 2012.
